For the preparation and upgrading of such professional, the BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL Applied Finance Master’s Program offers a specialized and career-oriented curriculum, covering all major advanced technique as practiced in Indonesia and the World, with a comprehensive range of courses, advancing competencies in all major areas of banking, capital markets and corporate finance.
Each subject taught in this program will contribute to a totality of understanding of how modern finance works in financial institutions or companies operating throughout Indonesia. A further distinction is that many MM Applied Finance topics entail in advanced techniques such as financial modeling – whereas the traditional MM Finance or BINUS Financial Analyst Academy – CFA® Preparation Program is in less depth.
The program is developed and delivered in consultation with senior bankers, traders, and financial management professionals, in order to reflect contemporary changes and challenges in a rapidly-evolving world of finance.
Graduates of this program will have their competencies fortified, so they may assume key positions in relevant industries, banks or other domestic or multinational businesses.
This program focuses on the variety of situations and challenges encountered in everyday executive-level business practice, and upon those strategies, processes, and practical applications involved in meeting stakeholder needs, while building value in a firm. Students will learn and explore skills in various businesses and different industries, seeing situations from both domestic and multinational perspectives.
The MM Applied Finance Program is designed to help students:
- Gain an overview, and understand the essentials, of all major development in financial fields within short period of time (16 months).
- Appreciate and apply principles of good governance and transparency in all financial decisions, in a framework of current practice, in a usable form for the contemporary executive.
- Network with others in similar or complementary businesses, for a firm business base that will apply to future career moves or financial ventures.
- Better prepared to take the CFA® Exam by providing a FREE CFA® Level 1 Preparation Course and a substantial degree of overlap between the MM Applied Finance curriculum and the CFA® curriculum.
